Maybe April

image-1Maybe April was born in the summer of 2012 when Katy Bishop, Kristen Castro, and Alaina Stacey travelled across the http://truthandsoulrecords.com/canada-cialis-no-prescription country to tramadol no prescription required Nashville, Tennessee for a weeklong music industry camp. Sharing a deep love of country-folk music, a genuine admiration for one another’s unique sound, and a constant willingness to laugh at themselves, the three strangers from Jonesboro, Arkansas, Simi Valley, California, and Chicago, Illinois, quickly became friends. Katy Bishop put it best. “It was a puzzle piece, and we were all surprised at the friendship we made and how well we all fit together. It’s hard to find people that have the qualities you need to compliment each other.” In just a few short hours, the three singer-songwriters wrote a country song that shocked music industry professionals. “Loving You Still” sounded as though it was written by artists who had been working together for years. Little did they know, "Loving You Still" would grow to be a very important song for them. In January 2014, Maybe April was invited to play it at the GRAMMY event "A Song is Born" at the Wilshire Ebell Theater in Los Angeles, CA alongside incredible artists and songwriters like Bonnie Raitt, Kris Kristofferson, Allen Shamblin, Gavin DeGraw, J.D. Souther, Joy Williams from the Civil Wars, and many others.

Recognized for their three-part harmonies, strength as instrumentalists, and shared roles as frontwomen, Katy, Kristen, and Alaina kept in close contact after they moved back to their hometowns. Their friendship grew over multiple phone calls, video chats, and sending songs back and forth. However, songwriting over the internet was much harder than writing together in the same room. Katy was the first person to tramadol 50mg make the move to Nashville for academics and songwriting. They continued composing music as a group, but quickly realized they needed to interact with each other face to face. A year later, Alaina and Kristen joined Katy in Nashville where they were finally reunited again in 2013.

Since they met, they have been writing songs and singing harmonies as a trio, each adding something different from their musical backgrounds to create a country indie folk sound. "I think we are a perfect combination because we help each other grow as we work together. Katy is a brilliant lyricist, Kristen hears beautiful melodies in her head, and I help put those things together by adding on harmonies once we've finished writing a song" says Alaina. As they rotate instruments and cialis sale usa crack mediocre jokes on stage, each performance not only tells stories of invens.nl everything from hardship to heartache, but also shows how the levitra tablet three girls support one another as both friends and musicians.
